One of my favorite caotorns is drawn in a single cell with no caption, but fits the debate of creationism verses evolution perfectly by demonstrating the power of perception. It also shows how our understanding is only limited by our imagination.The cartoon is a drawing of a laboratory with a series of complex equations that span several chalk boards. At the end of these equations is an equal sign followed by the number zero. On the floor below the zero is a piece of chalk and a pair of broken glasses. Apparently the diligent scientist had succeeded in proving that matter is composed of nothing and therefore can not exist. His brilliant mind complied with his hypothesis and negated his own existence.Evolution is one explanation for how we became self aware beings. Creationism is another explanation and also attempts to rationalize the existence of the universe. I think when we start looking for other explanations in earnest besides those in present scientific propaganda and religious doctrine we will find some truly illuminating answers.Good luck!
