Laruicci SS22 Dare to be Brave

Laruicci's SS22 ready-to-wear collection was the quintessence of the brand. Founded by Lauren Ruicci in 2009 as a jewelry line, this is the brand's 4th enigmatic ready-to-wear collection. As a designer, Ruicci is recognized for her strength combining luxury with more playful, punk-inspired pieces. This collection solidified her spot within the fashion community.

How are the statement earrings going to highlight the patchwork coat or pants they're being paired with? Nothing went unplanned with this SS22 collection. Another impressive feat for Laruicci was finding harmony between the brand's luxurious Parisian influences and the grittier New York style. Inspired by the parallels of these two vastly different universes, Ruicci dares us to unleash the bravest and most uninhibited version of ourselves.

The catwalk was filled with enchanting sentiments of dance floor strobe lights and fantasies. Following this year's trend of creating deconstructed pieces, strategic cutouts, and brilliant, light-catching fabrics, Ruicci made sure to take the time to explore how the clothing and jewelry spoke to one another.

Prominent ruching, standout shoulder pads, and a strategic blending of fabrics were accentuated by magnificent pearl belt buckets and larger-than-life earrings. The SS22 collection looks at Larucci's world with various items in a techno-glam society collision, examining the fresh enthusiasm and heart of the 00's welded with nightlife 90s underground rave scene.
